How does the treatment work?

Dr. Alan Majeranowski is our expert in Therapeutic Phlebotomy and oversees the procedure which is performed by trained and experienced nurses. Blood loss involves inserting a needle into a vein in the same way that blood is taken. One of the large veins that pass close to the skin near the bend of the elbow will most likely be selected for the procedure. Before the procedure is performed, the skin surface is disinfected with antiseptics. This process is very clean and safe and each stage is carried out while ensuring you the greatest possible comfort during the procedure. Blood loss takes only 15 to 20 minutes, which makes the entire procedure quick and safe. After the blood reduction, a supplemental drip is made. The price of the procedure, medical qualification and drip are PLN 350.

Duration of the entire procedure: approximately 1 hour.
